New York Mets at New York Yankees

MLB Betting Preview
New York Mets at New York Yankees
Saturday, 4:10 pm Eastern – Fox

The Subway series has resumed this weekend in New York with the Yankees hosting the Mets. The teams get the national spotlight on Fox television on Saturday as Livan Hernandez gets the call for the Mets while the Yankees counter with Andy Pettitte.

Check out the current line for this game at SBG Global.

Hernandez has been a huge plus for the Mets this season. He is 5-1 on the year with a 3.88 ERA. He pitched seven shutout innings against the Nationals in his last start. The key for Hernandez on Saturday could be how he handles Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod is batting .625 in his career against Hernandez with three home runs.

Pettitte is 6-2 on the season with a 4.22 ERA. He has pitched much better during the day than at night so that is something to keep in mind in this game. His ERA in day games is a full run lower than in night games. He is coming off a start in which he allowed just two earned runs against the Rays in six innings.

Runs have been plentiful at Yankee Stadium this season but with the Mets in town the numbers could go down. The key for the Mets has been the play of David Wright. When he is hitting they score runs but when he is not they struggle.

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Saturday’s game. The Mets are 4-1 in their last 5 interleague road games. The Mets are 5-2 in their last 7 interleague games vs. a right-handed starter. The Mets are 2-6 in their last 8 games as a road underdog.

The Yankees are 12-4 in their last 16 games as a home favorite. The Yankees are 55-22 in their last 77 interleague home games.

The Under is 5-1 in the Mets last 6 vs. the American League East. The Over is 19-7-2 in the Mets last 28 interleague road games.

The Under is 7-1 in the Yankees last 8 interleague home games. The Under is 11-5-2 in the Yankees last 18 overall. Before this series began the Over was 5-0 in the last 5 meetings at Yankee Stadium.

MLB Betting Preview Los Angeles Angels at Tampa Bay Rays

MLB Betting Preview
Los Angeles Angels at Tampa Bay Rays
Thursday, 7:05 pm Eastern

SBG Global Opening Line: Rays - 137 , Total 9 Under - 125

Two young pitching stars match up on Thursday as Ervin Santana and the Los Angeles Angels face David Price and the Tampa Bay Rays. Santana is just 1-2 on the season with a 6.75 ERA but he is still rounding into form after coming off the DL while Price is 1-0 on the season with a 2.45 ERA.

SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Rays at Home.

Santana was excellent in his last start against the Tigers giving up just one run on six hits in 8 2/3 innings. Santana is 3-3 with a 5.51 ERA in eight career outings against the Rays. He has struggled at Tropicana Field as he is 1-3 with a 6.81 ERA.

Price has made three starts for Tampa Bay this season and has only one decision. In his last start against the Yankees he went 5 2/3 innings and allowed just one earned run on two hits.

Los Angeles is not leading the American League West right now but manager Mike Scioscia believes it is only a matter of time. "There are a lot of good things that are happening with our club, but not as consistently as they need to," Scioscia said, "We're very optimistic that we're going to put one good game after another. That's what we need to do, but right now it's been a little bit hit and miss. But we're healthier now than we were a month ago and we just need guys to get into the game and just start to do it on a consistent basis and then we'll see where we are.”

The Angels are definitely a lot better now that they have two of their injured pitchers back in the rotation. "..we have some important pitchers back in Lackey and Santana in our rotation right now, and Escobar.” said Scioscia, “We're still trying to find a little chemistry in the bullpen. Vlad's back in the lineup and when he starts swinging like he can, he'll be a difference-maker for us on the offensive side."

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Thursday’s game. The Angels are 7-1 in their last 8 road games vs. a left-handed starter. The Angels are 0-4 in Santana’s last 4 road starts vs. the Rays.

The Rays are 62-27 in their last 89 games as a home favorite.

The Over is 4-1 in the Angels last 5 games vs. a left-handed starter. The Under is 8-0 in Santana’s last 8 road starts.

SBG Global Current Line: Rays - 143 , Total 9 Under - 125

The Under is 6-0-1 in the Rays last 7 games as a home favorite. The Under is 7-0-1 in the Rays last 8 games vs. a right-handed starter.

MLB Betting Preview New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox

MLB Betting Preview
New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox
Wednesday, 7:10 pm Eastern – ESPN

SBG Global Opening Line: Red Sox - 140 , Total 11 Flat

If history is any indication then there could be a lot of runs scored on Wednesday night in Boston as the Red Sox host the New York Yankees. Chien-Ming Wang gets the start for New York and he has not pitched well so far this season. Tim Wakefield gets the call for Boston and while he has pitched well this season for the Sox he has struggled in this career against New York.

SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Red Sox at Home.

Wang is 0-3 on the season with a bloated 14.46 ERA. He allowed five runs to the Rangers in his last start in only 4 2/3 innings of work. He is 3-3 with a 5.11 ERA at Fenway in his career.

Wakefield has been excellent at home this season going 4-0 with a 3.00 ERA. He has had problems against New York in his career though, going 10-17 against the Yankees with a 5.03 ERA.

The Yankees and Red Sox have resumed their positions at the top of the American League East so things are definitely back to normal in this series.
"From our standpoint, I believe we have a lot of similarities being in a big market and having high expectations," said Red Sox third baseman Mike Lowell. "I look forward to it. I think it's a great way to see how you measure up at certain points in the season. I know they've been playing really good baseball and I feel like we're getting into that groove where we're going to be playing some of our best baseball. They're always exciting games, and two teams mixed up with a lot of talent." The Red Sox had a lot of early season success against the Yankees but New York has played superbly since Alex Rodriguez returned and has taken the division lead. "They have a great team," said second baseman Dustin Pedroia, "They've been playing good baseball. We have to come out and play good baseball, too. Hopefully we come out and win the series."

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Wednesday’s game. The Yankees are 21-8 in Wang’s last 29 road starts. The Yankees are 5-1 in Wang’s last 6 starts vs. the Red Sox.

The Red Sox are 38-14 in Wakefield’s last 52 starts as a home favorite. The Red Sox are 2-5 in Wakefield’s last 7 home starts vs. the Yankees.

SBG Global Current Line: Red Sox - 122 , Total 11 Under - 115

The Over is 5-0 in Wang’s last 5 starts overall. The Over is 4-1 in Wang’s last 5 road starts vs. the Red Sox.

The Under is 6-1 in the Red Sox last 7 games as a home favorite. The Over is 4-1 in Wakefield’s last 5 starts as a home favorite.

MLB Betting Preview Philadelphia Phillies (33-22) at New York Mets (30-25)

MLB Betting Preview
Philadelphia Phillies (33-22) at New York Mets (30-25)
Tuesday, 7:10 pm Eastern

SBG Global Opening Line: Mets - 155 , Total 8 Flat

Johan Santana gets the start on Tuesday as the New York Mets open up a key series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Santana is 7-3 on the season with a 2.00 ERA and he has been excellent against the Phillies of late. He has gone 3-0 with a 2.49 ERA in his last six starts against Philadelphia. He pitched seven shutout innings against them on May 6th in a 1-0 New York win.

SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Phillies on the Road.

Santana will be tested on Tuesday against baseball’s best road team. The Phillies have won 13 of their last 17 on the road. The Phillies could easily have a 10-game winning streak but closer Brad Lidge blew two games in Los Angeles over the weekend as the Phillies split with the Dodgers. "We could have swept, but we got ourselves in a position where we needed a win to get a split and that's what we did," first baseman Ryan Howard said. "There's no sense in looking at what could have been."

The Phillies enter Tuesday’s game against the Mets leading them by three games in the National League East. The Phillies will send J.A. Happ on Tuesday. Happ is 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA in three starts since joining the rotation. He has pitched 5 2-3 shutout innings against the Mets this season in relief.

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Tuesday’s game. The Phillies are 8-2 in their last 10 vs. the National League East. The Phillies are 9-3 in their last 12 road games vs. a left-handed starter. The Phillies are 35-16 in their last 51 road games. The Phillies are 6-1 in Happ’s last 7 starts. The Phillies are 2-5 in the last 7 meetings in New York.

The Mets are 5-1 in their last 6 home games. The Mets are 7-2 in their last 9 vs. the National League East. The Mets are 10-3 in Santana’s last 13 starts as a home favorite.

SBG Global Current Line: Mets - 165 , Total 7.5 Over - 120

The Under is 7-1 in the Phillies last 8 games vs. a left-handed starter. The Under is 12-3-1 in the Phillies last 16 overall. The Under is 7-0 in Happ’s last 7 starts overall.

The Under is 4-0 in the Mets last 4 vs. the National League East. The Under is 5-2 in Santana’s last 7 starts as a home favorite.

MLB Betting Preview Philadelphia Phillies at Los Angeles Dodgers

MLB Betting Preview
Philadelphia Phillies at Los Angeles Dodgers
Saturday, 4:10 pm Eastern – Fox

The two best teams in the National League play the third game of a four-game series on Saturday in a matinee at Dodger Stadium as Los Angeles hosts the Philadelphia Phillies. Joe Blanton gets the start for the Phillies while Hiroki Kuroda gets the call for the Dodgers.

Check out the current line for this game at SBG Global.

The Phillies have been playing their best ball of the season of late while the Dodgers have simply been great all year. This series could easily be a preview of the National League Championship Series in October. The Dodgers look to have the edge on Saturday considering Kuroda is on the mound. He is 1-1 on the season with a 2.53 ERA. Kuroda has only made two starts this season because of injury but he looked good in his return on Monday as he gave up just two runs in five innings against Arizona. Last year Kuroda pitched very well in the playoffs against the Phillies, going eight innings and allowing only two runs.

Blanton has won his last three starts for the Phillies. He allowed three runs on six hits in seven innings against the Padres last time out. Blanton is 3-1 on the road this season and he is 6-1 on the road in his last 12 starts. While Blanton’s ERA is high, the Phillies win when he is on the mound. They are 16-7 in his 23 starts with the team.

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Saturday’s game. The Phillies are 4-0 in their last 4 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Phillies are 15-5 in their last 20 Saturday games. The Phillies are 36-16 in their last 52 road games. The Phillies are 4-0 in Blanton’s last 4 road starts.

The Dodgers are 12-2 in their last 14 Saturday games. The Dodgers are 22-8 in their last 30 home games vs. a right-handed starter. The Dodgers are 40-15 in their last 55 home games. The Dodgers are 4-1 in Kuroda’s last 5 home starts.

The Under is 10-2-1 in the Phillies last 13 overall. The Over is 11-5-2 in the Phillies last 18 road games vs. a right-handed starter. The Under is 6-2 in the Dodgers last 8 overall. The Under is 4-1 in Kuroda’s last 5 starts overall. The Over is 10-3-2 in the last 15 meetings in Los Angeles between the two teams.

MLB Betting Preview

MLB Betting Preview
Los Angeles Angels (25-24) at Toronto Blue Jays (29-24)
Tuesday, 7:05 pm Eastern

SBG Global Opening Line: Blue Jays - 165 , Total 8 Under - 115

Roy Halladay goes for his league leading 9th win on Tuesday as the Toronto Blue Jays host the Los Angeles Angels. The Blue Jays have lost Halladay’s last two starts but it hasn’t been his fault. He is 8-1 on the season with a 2.63 ERA. In his last start he gave up three runs in seven innings against Baltimore but the bullpen blew the game. "We know Doc goes out there every fifth day and does his thing on the mound. We just try to pick up what's left, and usually, it's not a lot," Toronto reliever Brian Wolfe said. Halladay has been just average against the Angels in his career, going 7-5 with a 4.35 ERA in 15 games.

SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Angels on the Road.

Toronto had won six straight at home until an 8-2 loss to Boston. The Blue Jays are 9-9 this season against left-handed starters and they will face a good one on Tuesday as the Angels send Joe Saunders who is 6-3 with a 3.26 ERA. Saunders is 1-2 with a 3.62 ERA in four career starts against Toronto.

The Angels are coming off a big win on Sunday as they rallied from seven runs down to defeat Seattle. Now they start a nine-game road trip in Toronto. The game salvaged a very poor homestand in which the Angels went 2-4. "We had a rough week, I'm not going to lie," the Angels Torii Hunter said, "Today we battled, fought back. We'll take this on the road with us."

Last year the Angels won two of three in Toronto but they have lost 15 of the last 22 there since 2003. Here are the MLB Betting stats for Tuesday’s game. The Angels are 4-1 in their last 5 games as a road underdog. The Angels are 7-1 in Saunders' last 8 starts as a road underdog. The Angels are 4-9 in the last 13 meetings in Toronto.

The Blue Jays are 11-4 in their last 15 vs. the American League West. The Blue Jays are 5-1 in Halladay’s last 6 starts vs. the American League West.

SBG Global Current Line: Blue Jays - 170 , Total 8 Under - 115

The Under is 4-1 in the Angels last 5 overall. The Under is 4-1 in Saunders' last 5 starts overall. The Over is 15-4 in Halladay’s last 19 starts overall. The Under is 4-0-1 in Halladay’s last 5 home starts vs. the Angels. The Under is 22-5-3 in the last 30 meetings in Toronto between the two teams.

MLB Betting Preview

MLB Betting Preview
Atlanta Braves at Arizona Diamondbacks
Saturday, 4:10 pm Eastern – Fox

The Atlanta Braves and Arizona Diamondbacks get the spotlight on Fox television on Saturday afternoon. Javier Vazquez gets the start for the Braves while Doug Davis takes the hill for Arizona. Vazquez is 4-4 on the season with a 3.80 ERA while Davis is 2-6 with a 3.77 ERA.

Check out the current line for this game at SBG Global.

Vazquez has been up and down this season for the Braves, allowing five earned runs or more in three of his past six starts and two earned runs or less in the other three starts. The last time he faced Arizona he went seven innings and allowed just two earned runs in a no-decision.

Davis has pitched well this season but hasn’t been rewarded. He allowed just one run in his last start in seven innings against San Diego but the bullpen collapsed and he was denied a win.

The Diamondbacks have struggled this season in large part due to an anemic offense and the fact that Brandon Webb hasn’t pitched much. Webb is getting closer to returning though and he would be a welcome sight for the Diamondbacks. "He's inching back there, day-by-day," Arizona manager A.J. Hinch said, "Once we get him on the mound, we'll build his pitch count up, pitch him in a few [Minor League] games and hopefully we can activate him." Yusmeiro Petit, Bryan Augenstein and Billy Buckner have started in place of Webb this season. They have made nine starts and have a combined 6.80 ERA. Arizona is 2-7 in those games.

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Saturday’s game. Before Friday’s game the Braves were 0-5 in their last 5 vs. the National League West.

The Diamondbacks are 5-1 in their last 6 vs. the National League East. The Diamondbacks are 2-5 in their last 7 home games. The Diamondbacks are 1-5 in Davis' last 6 home starts. The Diamondbacks are 0-6 in Davis' last 6 starts vs. the National League East.

The Over is 6-0 in the Braves last 6 road games vs. a left-handed starter. The Over is 4-1 in the Diamondbacks last 5 home games. The Over is 4-1 in the Diamondbacks last 5 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Under is 7-0 in Davis' last 7 Saturday starts.

MLB Betting Preview

MLB Betting Preview
Cincinnati Reds (26-20) at Milwaukee Brewers (27-20)
Friday, 8:05 pm Eastern

SBG Global Opening Line: Reds - 117 , Total 8.5 Flat

An interesting three-game series in the National League Central begins on Friday night as the Milwaukee Brewers host the Cincinnati Reds. The Brewers have fallen to second place in the division while the Reds are right on their heels, just a half game back.

SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Reds on the Road.

The Brewers have struggled of late, mainly because they aren’t scoring any runs. Milwaukee lost Rickie Weeks for the season and J.J. Hardy and Ryan Braun have missed games this week. "There are absolutely no excuses when you go out and play - you go out and you lay it out there and your results are your results," manager Ken Macha said, "(But) our travel and sleep (and) rest situations over these last nine games have been difficult." Milwaukee is hitting just .204 in their past six games. It may not get any better on Friday against Johnny Cueto who is 4-2 with a 2.37 ERA this season. Last year Cueto was 1-0 with a 2.79 ERA in three starts against the Brewers.

The Reds won their last four games on their homestand and now they head out on the road. "We came in here and took care of business," said Cincinnati’s Jay Bruce, "We'll go on the road on a roll with some momentum. We plan on coming back (home) in first place." That could happen considering the Reds are 13-8 on the road this season. They will face Braden Looper on Friday. Looper is 4-3 with a 4.47 ERA this season for the Brewers.

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Friday’s game. The Reds are 4-0 in their last 4 overall. The Reds are 6-1 in their last 7 vs. the National League Central. The Reds are 4-0 in Cueto’s last 4 road starts. The Reds are 8-3 in the last 11 meetings in Milwaukee.

The Brewers are 18-6 in their last 24 games as a home favorite. The Brewers are 1-5 in their last 6 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Brewers are 4-1 in Looper’s last 5 home starts.

The Over is 7-1 in the Reds last 8 vs. the National League Central. The Under is 12-5-1 in the Reds last 18 road games. The Under is 11-2-1 in Cueto’s last 14 road starts.

SBG Global Current Line: Reds - 115 , Total 8.5 Flat

The Under is 4-1 in the Brewers last 5 overall. The Under is 10-4 in the Brewers last 14 home games. The Under is 4-1 in Looper’s last 5 starts as an underdog. The Over is 5-2-2 in the last 9 meetings in Milwaukee.

MLB Betting Preview - Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Chicago Cubs

MLB Betting Preview
Los Angeles Dodgers (33-15) at Chicago Cubs (23-22)
Thursday, 8:05 pm Eastern

SBG Global Opening Line: Cubs - 122 , Total TBA

The Los Angeles Dodgers will try and extend their winning streak to four games as they begin a series with the Chicago Cubs on Thursday. The Dodgers have the best record in baseball and haven’t missed a beat, even without Manny Ramirez in the lineup. Juan Pierre has taken Ramirez’s place and the Dodgers are scoring even more runs. Pierre is hitting .410 since taking over in left field. "He's shown us so much more production and so much more pop," manager Joe Torre said, "He was certainly ready for this when it presented itself."

SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Dodgers on the Road.

The Dodgers are very happy that Pierre has gotten the chance to play. "The thing you really respect about him more than anything is his work ethic. He's a good team person. Last year, I asked him to help with the younger players, and knowing that Matt Kemp was playing his position didn't keep him from going over and trying to help this young man. I think everybody's happy for him right now." Torre said.

The Cubs seemed to have righted the ship after losing eight straight as they won the last two games in their series against Pittsburgh. The Cubs made a number of moves on Wednesday, one of which paid off immediately. They called up Jake Fox, who was leading the Pacific Coast League in hitting and they also called up left-handed reliever Jason Waddell and infielder Andres Blanco on Wednesday as they sent Neal Cotts and Bobby Scales to Triple-A Iowa. Fox immediately came in on Wednesday and delivered a pinch hit RBI single. "He gives us a good bat coming off the bench, a power bat," Cubs manager Lou Piniella said. "We haven't had that. This gives us more firepower."

The Dodgers send Randy Wolf to the mound on Thursday. He is 2-1 with a 3.02 ERA this season. He is tied for the Major League lead with seven no-decisions this season.

Randy Wells gets the call for Chicago. He is 0-1 with a 1.50 ERA this season. Wells has done well in the rotation taking the place of Carlos Zambrano and now Rich Harden.

SBG Global Current Line: Cubs - 122 , Total TBA

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Thursday’s game. The Dodgers are 6-2 in their last 8 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Dodgers are 4-1 in Wolf’s last 5 starts. The Dodgers are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings between the two teams.

The Cubs are 17-8 in their last 25 games vs. a left-handed starter.

The Over is 4-1-1 in the Dodgers last 6 road games. The Under is 6-2 in the Cubs last 8 overall. The Over is 7-3-1 in the Cubs last 11 games vs. a left-handed starter.

MLB Betting Preview
Tampa Bay Rays (23-23) at Cleveland Indians (17-28)
Monday, 6:05 pm Eastern

SBG Global Opening Line: Indians - 110 , Total 9.5 Flat

David Price will make his season debut for the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday as he gets the start in Cleveland. Price was great last year in the AL Championship Series against Boston but upper management still believed he needed to start this season in Triple A. "He's a unique young man, and he thrives under this kind of situation," Rays manager Joe Maddon said. "I know he definitely feels like he belongs here, and those are the kind of things you want."

SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Rays on the Road.

Tampa Bay has had all kinds of trouble in Cleveland recently, losing their last 13 games there. That streak should end though as Tampa has the better team as they proved earlier this year when they took three of four from the Indians in Tampa Bay.

Fausto Carmona gets the start for the Indians on Monday. Carmona is 2-4 with a 5.74 ERA this season. He is 2-1 with a 5.51 ERA in his career against Tampa Bay.

The Indians come off a 4-6 road trip so they should be happy to get home.
"The bullpen's done a good job lately," Cleveland manager Eric Wedge said. "The difference in this game (Sunday’s loss) was not getting the big hit."

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Monday’s game. The Rays are 4-0 in their last 4 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Rays are 2-6 in their last 8 games as a road favorite. The Rays are 11-28 in the last 39 meetings in Cleveland.

The Indians are 2-5 in their last 7 home games. The Indians are 1-4 in their last 5 vs. the American League East. The Indians are 13-6 in Carmona’s last 19 starts vs. the American League East.

The Over is 4-0 in the Rays last 4 overall. The Over is 4-1 in the Rays last 5 vs. the American League Central.

SBG Global Current Line: Indians - 110 , Total 9.5 Over - 120

The Over is 5-1 in the Indians last 6 games vs. a left-handed starter. The Over is 16-5 in the Indians last 21 vs. the American League East. The Over is 14-3 in Carmona’s last 17 starts as a favorite. The Under is 11-4-1 in the last 16 meetings in Cleveland between the two teams.

MLB Betting Preview
Philadelphia Phillies at New York Yankees
Saturday, 4:10 pm Eastern – Fox

An intriguing Interleague matchup takes place on Saturday afternoon in New York as the Yankees host the Philadelphia Phillies. The pitching matchup on Saturday has J.A. Happ going for the Phillies while the Yankees counter with Andy Pettitte.

Check out the current line for this game at SBG Global.

Happ is 2-0 on the season with a 2.49 ERA while Pettitte is 4-1 with a 4.18 ERA. This is Happ’s first start of the season as he replaces Chan Ho Park in the Phillies rotation.

Pettite has picked up four wins this season and usually keeps the Yankees in the game. He gave up four runs in his last outing against the Twins but picked up the victory.

The Yankees have been a very successful team in Interleague play going 123-87 before Friday’s game. The Phillies have not had as much success going 90-109. Last year the Phillies were just 4-11 in Interleague play. The Yankees were 10-8 against the Phillies all-time before the series began on Friday, not including the 1950 World Series. Philadelphia has not played in New York since 2000. "Going to New York is always something special," Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said. "The old Yankee Stadium definitely had a real feel to it. I'm sure this one will have a good feel. They're hitting a lot of home runs there. Hopefully we can tee off on some."

Cole Hamels will be the starter on Sunday and he would have preferred to pitch in the old Yankee Stadium. "It will be nice to see the nice, new stadium," said Hamels, "Kind of see what they have. But I wish I would have been able to pitch in the old Yankee Stadium."

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Saturday’s game. The Phillies are 6-1 in their last 7 road games vs. a left-handed starter. The Phillies are 4-1 in their last 5 Interleague games. The Phillies are 23-9 in their last 32 road games.

MLB Betting Preview
Los Angeles Angels at Los Angeles Dodgers
Friday, 7:10 pm Eastern

SBG Global Opening Line: Dodgers - 120 , Total 8 Over - 120

Interleague play on Friday is highlighted by the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the Los Angeles Angels in the opener of the Freeway Series. The Dodgers have the best record in baseball and their 17-3 record at home is their best ever after 20 games and they are leading the National League West by a large margin. "Right now, we're pretty good," manager Joe Torre said.

SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Dodgers at Home.

Torre says the Dodgers actually can point to a series last year against the Angels when they started to come together. "Winning two of three from the Angels last year at home, that was a great series for us," said Torre. "We realized we could play against a good team. It meant a lot to us and we went off and played well."

Friday’s game has Jered Weaver going for the Angels against the Dodgers Clayton Kershaw. Weaver is 3-2 on the season with a 2.59 ERA. He pitched well in his last outing against the Rangers but took a loss as the offense couldn’t score. Weaver has not given up more than four runs in any of his eight starts this year. He is 3-1 in his career against the Dodgers with a 1.54 ERA. He is 1-1 in his career at Dodger Stadium.

Kershaw is 2-3 with a 4.60 ERA this season. He pitched great in his last outing, losing a no-hitter when Cody Ross doubled in the eighth inning for Florida. Kershaw struck out nine but did walk four. Kershaw has been very good at home this year with a 0.95 ERA in three home starts.

The Dodgers have recorded five series sweeps this year and they have all come at home. Here are the MLB Betting stats for Friday’s game. The Angels are 4-0 in their last 4 games vs. a left-handed starter. The Angels are 8-3 in their last 11 interleague road games. The Angels are 10-4 in their last 14 vs. the National League West. The Angels are 0-5 in Weaver’s last 5 road starts.

The Dodgers are 4-0 in their last 4 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Dodgers are 43-14 in their last 57 home games. The Dodgers are 6-15 in their last 21 vs. the American League West. The Dodgers are 8-0 in Kershaw’s last 8 starts as a home favorite.

SBG Global Current Line: Dodgers - 124 , Total 7.5 Under - 120

The Under is 7-0 in the Dodgers last 7 interleague home games. The Over is 5-2 in Kershaw’s last 7 starts as a home favorite.
